New Technologies of Aironn will be Used in the New Ataturk Cultural Center

It was designed as a theater building in 1946, Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), which was built in Taksim Square, was opened in 1969 under the name of Istanbul Culture Palace. The center, which received great acclaim and became the "Heart of Art" in Istanbul, became unusable as a result of a fire during a theater play in 1970, was repaired and reunited in 1977 with art lovers. The decision to reinforce was taken in 2007, and after the decision taken in 2018, it was completely destroyed. The new AKM, which the art lovers of Istanbul longed for, was designed by Murat Tabanlıoğlu, the son of Hayati Tabanlıoğlu, the architect of the first building. The newly built building will be among the largest operas in the world with its opera house of 2,500 people. The new AKM art complex also has a theater for 800 people, a conference for 1000 people, a cinema for 285 people, theater rooms for 250 people, an exhibition hall, a library, a cafeteria, restaurants and a parking garage for 885 vehicles.

On its exterior, there will be a huge screen that allows citizens to watch shows from Taksim Square. New AKM, which will be beating the heart of art in Istanbul, will be completed at the end of this year.
